The Brief
We were appointed by a trading subsidiary of a large Russian Oil & Gas company to develop a suite of courses capable of up-skilling their back and middle office functions.
The client required us to develop content that was academically and technically robust, with an emphasis on practical and immediately applicable tools/techniques as opposed to theoretical models and concepts.
Service provided
We structured a set of deep-dive modules of 1-2 day duration. These included:
- Risk Management & Analysis
- Derivatives & Options
- Gas & Power and Trading
- Crude Oil, Products Trading
- LNG Trading
As with all of our courses our instructor led delivery was interactive, engaging and appropriate for employees working in a fast paced, demanding and entrepreneurial business. All of our courses made extensive use of simulations on our trading platform in order that delegates could apply theory to practical situations to genuinely feel what it is like to be a trader.
The courses have been delivered in the UK, Russia and Singapore.
Results
The client now has a standardised educational programme that ensures a consistent level of relevant knowledge across their locations worldwide.
